    I am running X11R2 on a Sun 3/60.  I cannot get XtNstring from the an
Athena widget of asciiStringWidgetClass.  The user of my program enters text
into the text widget and I need to retrieve it and store the information in
a file.  I have tried using XtGetValues just like I would to successfully get
an XtNvalue from an Athena dialog widget.  I have tried XtTextGetValues as the
word is mentioned on page 21 of the "X Toolkit Widgets" document on the release
tape but that routine doesn't appear to exist.  I have looked at the Text.c
file and related files but I can't seem to find the right element to access.
There has been recent discussion on xpert in regard to the text widget,

    so I was wondering if someone could please give me a quick workaround
    (or a slow one) or tell me what I'm missing?
