What I'd Like to See Department: a news administrator's mailing list. 
Ideally this would be a digest moderated by someone knowledgeable
giving us dutiful news administrators the gist of the news.* groups
with flames and redundancy excised.  Then I could remove news.* from
my machine, or at least from my .newsrc file. 

Any volunteers?  (Please, send discussion of this idea to /dev/null.)
