I am running 2.11.14 with dbm and when expire runs (and also when i run post-
news) i get complaints about several (obviously) dbm related files not being
linked together.  I keep linking them according to the indications given by the
error messages and a while later they are back to being unlinked again.  Has
anyone seen this problem?  All the appropriate files, as far as i know, are
suid to news.

In fact, what a coincidence!  I just got these error message after exiting from
vi:

dbmcompat: No file /usr/lib/news/history.dir
