Re: PAL <-+-> NTSC converters:

_Elektor  Electronics_ magazine,  May 1988 (p.57) has application 
notes  for  a  chip  which decodes NTSC (3.58  or  4.43MHz  color 
burst), PAL and SECAM.  The chip is TDA4555, made by Philips (the 
article  references  Philips  Technical  Publication  169.)   The 
article includes a circuit for switching external filters for the 
various  formats.  It  also  reviews the characteristics  of  the 
various TV formats.

_EE_  is  a European electronics magazine  published  in  several 
languages.
