I made an offer a short while ago, still in effect, which runs like this: For $2.00, a REUSABLE mailer, a CORRECTLY FORMATTED (8-sector) floppy disk, and a return address, you can have the updated diagnostic disk which will correctly format disks larger than 67 MB. Goof in the conditions above, and you get a 'sorry about that' letter and you can try all over. This offer will be honored, but has proven to be a burden. For $5.00, and a return address, I will supply everything else and throw in the photocopies of the upgrade instructions and PAL equations. Sorry, I do not have a source of PALs yet. Several people have responded so far. Happily, the first two were generous and sagacious enough to recognize the true economics of such things, and sent $10.00. Another sent the mailer and floppy with $5.00. This is very much appreciated. I am not starving or anything near it, but the thoughtfulness and encouragement are a nice touch in these times of electronic isolation. So far, when I am in town, I am turning these things around the same day. --- Kevin O'Gorman ( kevin@kosman ) voice: 805-984-8042 Vital Computer Systems, 5115 Beachcomber, Oxnard, CA 93035
