I have just begun getting involved with Information Management DataBase Systems
and already am confused by the ambiguous terminology.  Can anyone define for me
the differences between;
a distributed database
a logical database
a relational database
a continuous database
an object-oriented database
Any references to into. material on this subject would be appreciated.
