It's called ZMODEM (by Chuck Forsberg). It meets all the criteria you specified. I've been using Zmodem to upload all the files I add to our public domain archives at SIMTEL20. It's very robust - even allows picking up "where you left off" if you get disconnected! I wish the Usenet community would take a closer look at Zmodem. Chuck has all the hooks in it for remote restricted shell logins for up/downloading. The most current version of Chuck's RZ/SZ program for Unix and VAX/VMS. is kept in the PD1: directory at SIMTEL20.ARPA. The files are updated whenever Chuck releases a new version. --Keith Petersen Maintainer of the CP/M and MSDOS archives at SIMTEL20.ARPA [26.0.0.74] Arpa: W8SDZ@SIMTEL20.ARPA Uucp: {decwrl,harvard,lll-crg,ucbvax,uunet,uw-beaver}!simtel20.arpa!w8sdz GEnie: W8SDZ RCP/M Royal Oak: 313-759-6569 - 300, 1200, 2400 (V.22bis) or 9600 (USR HST)
