Then, I would already have it! 'Try to write uucp from scratch' The point was, that that would not be necessarry. The complete file transfer methods an login procedure have already been programmed. The only thing that needs to be done is modify to file request/supply method. It should be made upwardy compatible to work with ZMODEM. This really shouln't be too much work because such a negotiation mechanism is already present in UUCP, and the hooks (I just read) are already built in ZMODEM. Only the link has to be programmed. Isn't there ANY PD uucp source available out there? (I'm reading the news for just a couple of week now) 'Waiting for ATT could be long' I fear so too, so suggest to build something that is always upwardly compitible with the latest uucp of ATT and/or other significant UNIX developpers.
