I do not want to install some heavy listserver software but to use the tools available on our machine, namely the Mail and Gmail utilities. As Gmail can be used with a distribution file, it seems to work fine for broadcasting messages. The problem I have is to build the file to be braodcasted. The idea is to gather the messages received in one file for broadcasting it afterward. But I have problems to find a simple way to obtain a clean file after gathering. By clean I mean to have each individual message headed only by the from, date and subject fields. I tried the extract/all/noheader options of Mail but there still remain a lot of heading information that I do not want. Of course a solution could be to write a program in some language for cleaning up the file. But is not there any simpler solution or any such program already written somewhere ? Thanks for help. Please write to my own E-mail address as I am not on the info-vax list. Philippe Dugerdil Univ. Of Neuchatel Switzerland bitnet: INDUGERD@CNEDCU51
