Message-ID: <880729180336.20400214@NMFECC.ARPA> Date: 30 Jul 88 01:03:36 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 15 Can anyone verify if the VAXcluster PAK is really required before V5 will run in a cluster? Our Vaxcluster PAK's aren't due until the "September time frame" but we need to run one cluster node at V5A (mixed version cluster) now for testing. The release notes say (in section 6.11) that if a Vaxcluster PAK is not registered, only an error message is issued at system startup and "Vaxcluster environment processing continues". However the cover letter appears to contradict this. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance. C. A.
