Under VMS V5.0, the MAIL command SELECT/NEW no longer resets an incorrect
New Mail count from VMSMAIL.DAT.

Is there any (easy) way to fix this?  I know that I can copy MAIL.MAI files
around and convince MAIL to re-read old "New" messages.

While I am at it, does anyone think it would be useful to create a special
(temporary?) mailing list for those people who are interested in issues
regarding VMS V4->V5 migration?  This list could be archived for others
to read later and would keep Info-VAX relatively "clean" from excess
traffic.  If there is interest in it, I'd be happy to set up such a list
here...
