Keywords: ARP AmigaDOS Replacement Project Message-ID: <441@jc3b21.UUCP> Date: 3 Aug 88 03:27:40 GMT Distribution: na Organization: St. Petersburg Jr. College, FL Lines: 17 A friend and I were discussing the AmigaDOS Replacement Project (ARP). He wondered how the ARP commands were kept so small. Many of them are less than 1K in executable form. The only explanation I could give was that the commands called routines in a runtime library. Is that correct? Does ARP require a runtime library or do you just neet the library at compile time? Is there anything else that would explain how the programs are kept so small? Any information would be appreciated. --Fabbian Dufoe 350 Ling-A-Mor Terrace South St. Petersburg, Florida 33705 813-823-2350 UUCP: ...gatech!codas!usfvax2!jc3b21!fgd3 ...uunet!pdn!jc3b21!fgd3
