i have a dn4000 and 2 dn3000 running aegis 9.7.0.3
the problem that has "developed" recently is that "sometimes"
when users alter passwords, they are NOT permitted to log on.
the error is the usual "login incorrect" and after 3 tries say goodbye...
BUT
when the "su" command is used then all is well!???
i suspect that the registries are at fault, but i've been unable
to replicate the error in a consistent manner (ie on two occassions
the actual password seemed to be causing the "no login problem")
has anyone had similar problems?
can anyone offer suggestions at diagnosis OR solution?
