You'll find that INDEX APPLE2-L (sent to LISTSERV@BROWNVM - not to APPLE2-L) also will work and you'll have a list of the programs in the archive (including all 5 ATP files). Anyone who REALLY IS on the Internet (rather than using a mail forwarder) or among the limited number of other domains listed in Bitnet's domain tables can retrieve software from the APPLE2-L archives. Sorry, but the LISTSERV cannot respond to UUCP addresses or domains that are served by Mail eXchangers (the pro-lines are an example).
