If you know the layout of TOS disks, you could use a low-level disk editor to try to repair the damage. Plug Warning: The program Hard Disk Sentry will fix these sorts of problems on floppy disks and hard disk (worse on hard disks becuase there are a lot more files at stake). It retails for $49.95.
