The following is a posting for ...!uunet!vsedev!UNIX2!root (Mike
Lebofsky):

	I am looking for a package,(public or commercial), that will
	let me partition a hard disk, write protect one partition,
        and clear(wipe disk) the second partition.  The clearing of
        the second partition should be done by Gov. standards,(ie.
	Norton's WipeDisk). 
	
	The PC's that will be using this software are:
	
		NEC Powermate 286's and 386's
		Compaq 286's
		AT&T 6300's
