I have a Mac+ with a hard disk and a Unix machine with a detatchable
SCSI streamer tape unit. I would like to connect the streamer to
the Mac and be able to make backups. Full dumps is OK, but incremental
backups would be nice. I need to be able to make a full restore and
to restore single files.
I would be very grateful if someone would answer the following questions
for me:

1) Is there a freeware/shareware/commercial product that does what I want?

2) Would such a program be hard to write? I'm an experienced programmer
but I have never written anything for the Mac.
