It's a good idea to remove the Easy Access file from your system folder. When you fire five times in a row (the shift key), sticky keys turns on, giving you strange effects. The most notable is that the ship keeps turning after you let the turn key up. 2. The quick blips of shielding are the Auto-Shield kicking in to protect you from your own bullets that have bounced off a wall. 3. The game needs to be run in 1-bit mode on a MacII. Should have made this clear. 4. The RamCache wreaks havoc with this game. Even though I allocate the second graphics screen, the ramcache still gets overwritten and crashes at strange times will result. Macsbug and some other INITs also allocate enough high memory to interfere. There is a "reserve second screen" INIT on sumex that lets you use the ramcache while playing. MacII people need not worry, since no 2nd buffer is used on that machine. If anyone knows how Dark Castle handles this problem, or whether they do, I would like to know about it. 5. The high score list only allows one score under each name. When a higher one under the same name appears, it replaces the old one. I've seen lots of high score lists where one person has the top 7 slots, etc. Under our system, ten people can all have their personal best up there, and everyone still knows who the top dog is. Once your name is up there, just click on it to start a new game under that name. Randy
