I Have an Altos 886 T50 (50meg internal HD).  I need information
pertaining to adding (or replacing) the hard drive for a total
of at least 100meg.  I'm told by Altos that there are only 2
brands that I can use:  Micropolis and Vexter (I think 'Vexter'
or 'Vector').  Why isn't it (or is it??) possible to use other 
brands such as Seagate...  Also, Altos says that they have to do
a slow format on the drive; can't I do this?
