This is some more about Jeremy Huxtable's screendump.  The error message
is IOT trap.  When I display (or was it restore?  anyway, it's the one
that puts things into a window) it works fine... until I try to kill the
window with a zap - my whole server was zapped!  Everything I typed was
garbled and the cursor was only partially responsive...  I was forced to
kill the news server by remote logging in over the net.  So there is a
bug in this that can be rather nasty.  It's a great tool otherwise!  Tom
