I've only seen second hand reports, in New Scientist, but it looks like there are procedural deficiencies in the experiments, and the results were not reproduced under the 'double-blind' conditions introduced by Randi et al. The involvement of homeopathy supporters at both Benveniste's and the corroborating laboratories is also a cause for doubts about unconscious bias. -- signed: Andrew Merritt (763) 2109 local: apm global: apm@iclbra.uucp apm@icl.stc.co.uk MSDOS: Just say NO. ...!uunet!mcvax!ukc!stc!iclbra!apm
