Heresy!!! :-) :-) More seriously, the System V people have put a lot of effort into their One Standard Unix campaign, and the last thing they want is competition from within AT&T itself. There has been a little bit of distribution of research Unix to selected universities, but it seems unlikely that there will be any more general release.
