I didn't encounter this yet (as I haven't played the casino yet), but I did have a problem at the library. After researching some magic, I was asked if I would pay. I hit 'y' and the game responded "No payee, no study..." After repeating this a few times, I hit 'n' and it responded "You Philastine!" and then proceded to deduct the money anyhow. Also, I have had some game crashes when I requested help. It seems that if I ask for help with "everything" the game crashes, not being able to find a file (I think, messages scrolled by on the screen very quickly and I didn't care to repeat the action to discover what the problem was.) (I did manage to set a new high score by walking into pure chaos and achieving maximum entropy, moving up several levels just before I died. :-) The un-rogue-like feature that I can't figure out (which prompted the "help everything" request) is how to pick up dropped objects. If I move onto the space, nothing happens. If I hit the ',' character, I get prompted for how long I want to rest for. I haven't spent much time on Omega yet, obviously, but can anyone answer this simple question? -- --Jeff Hartung-- ARPA - hartung@sdics.ucsd.edu UUCP - !ucsd!sdics!hartung
