I am looking for information regarding MAC level bridges with routing
capabilites (spanning tree, load balancing, etc.).  Specifically,
I am looking for opinions as to what to use, problems found, useful
features not found elsewhere, etc.

I want to bridge 802.3 ethernet to any of {infra-red, microwave, T-1,
4-wire leased line, RS-422, RS-232}.  Whatever you're using to handle
similar situations, I'd like to hear about.

Of course, please mail me; I'll post a summary to the net.
