Message-ID: <365@litp.UUCP> Date: 18 Aug 88 16:12:17 GMT Organization: Lab. d'Info. Theorique et Programmation - LITP - Paris - FRANCE Lines: 22 I'm considering the use of Object Pascal + MacApp for programming the macintosh (instead of using C). I'd like to hear about your various experiences in writing medium-sized to large applications with it (>10000 lines?); advantages and disavantages ; I've seen that Apple provided some "Object Oriented Assembly macro package" with it. How much of assembly did you use in your application ? in particular was it because of MacApp being too inefficient, or else ? Did some of you finally turned out to other languages, or conversely definitely adopted MacApp ? etc. I would also like to know which, among the well-known applications or utilities for the Mac, are written in Object-Pascal (especially those from Apple). Are there so many ? How about Object-Pascal's modules ? Please E-mail responses, I'll summarize for the net. Vincent Delacour -- ...!uunet!mcvax!inria!litp!vd
