	thanks for the replies;  I talked with the folks at NIC by phone
	and was informed that SIMTEL20 lost its defenses against the heat:
	the A/C is broken !!!

	the fact that one cannot reach people with SIMTEL20-addresses
	automatically on some other machine proves how fragile this
	whole Email-business really is!  how would you react if the
	fact that your mailman had a heat-rash caused your mail no
	longer to get delivered,  FOR WEEKS!!!

		---Werner  (spoiled by years of Email-use, and wanting
				to get even "spoilter"  :-)

PS: if I only could remember where Wancho or Peterson had accounts on
	other machines ...every host-administrator should provide an
	alterate address in the NIC-database!  don't you agree?!
