If something between !'s in a UUCP route does not have dots in it, it has unambiguous meaning only to the entity named on the left of the bounding !. If you want people to use your resources in a certain way and in no other, then do these things: (a) publish your preferences in your UUCP map entry (b) block mail along non-published exits from your system except from privileged users / sites.
