Or just what the >Project is using its non-profits for? Hear hear! With a foot in both universes (1200 pc at home, internet at work) I find the whole concept of the d. stuff silly. At work I'm covered by the NIC; from home I send my map entries to the Michigan map co-ordinator. I tell folks my home site is lokkur.uucp, and everything works fine. Thus far I see zero benefit and very large numbers for arrogance from the UUCP Project. Erics list of questions would be a great way for the UUCP Project to explain itself. As far as I can tell the .maps group and regional co-ordinators make it pretty useless. Oh yeah, as soon as name service is in place from UofM, my home site is becoming lokkur.mi.us. -- Steve Simmons ...!umix!itivax!vax3!scs Industrial Technology Institute, Ann Arbor, MI.
