I've just compiled John Gilmore's PDtar (nice work John). I have the Nov '87
version and I was wondering if this is the most current, are there
any patches?  I also need to know if anyone has had any compatibility
problems. The tapes I write with the PDtar have to be 100% compatible
with the std tar (if none of the nifty options are used).
