Stockholm, Sweden Lines: 21 I'm looking for some way to use a HPLJ+ compatible printer instead of the Digital Equipment Corp. LN03 laser printer. Specifically, I want to use DECpage (a VMS document formatting product) with a HPLJ+ printer. Obviously, such a product will be useful in general to use existing HPLJ+ printers with a VAX/VMS system, especially if sixel/REGIS graphics is supported by the conversion. I'm aware of numerous problems with such a conversion/filter, but none seem impossible to surmount. Since my company builds laserprinters, we have access to licensed fonts, and can convert them for our own use if necessary. Any information is appreciated, both on commercial and homegrown programs. If source code is available, host environment is unimportant (we can convert), otherwise it must run on VMS. PLEASE respond by mail directly to me @ ...!mcvax!enea!mignon!ssg, even if you are only interested in the information too. I will then either summarize and post the results, or I will mail to those who have indicated interest (if there is anything to report :-).
