Lines: 26 I just acquired, in trade, a cartridge tape unit which I would like to attach to my SCO xenix system. Has anyone built a driver for such a beastie? It appears that the system does not normally support -any_ kind of tape. (No mt drivers listed in /dev, anyway). Your help is appreciated. Particulars: Stock IBM AT Tape unit has IBM style controller card Tape unit built by "SYSGEN Corp", labled SYSGEN Smart Qic-file Controller labeled Sysgen 5500 Capacity, density, speed, etc, etc unknown. No manual, and no install floppy for MS-DOS, either. Any of this info would be a help, even if it isn't the requested driver. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Still working on _natural_ intelligence. gary@percival (...!tektronix!percival!gary)
