I use Dr. T's KCS with my Amiga 500.  I have Sonix and DMCS.  Since getting
Dr. T's I have converted all of my scores and don't use Sonix anymore at all
and DMCS very little (of the two DMCS is more powerful).  The sequencer (DRr.
T's) is extremely powerful.  But, as you have learned there is no free lunch,
you will have to take time to learn to use it.  I highly recommend using the
Dr. T's package.  To me, MusicX is vaporware until *I* see it do something.
