From an article in Computer Currents a couple of weeks ago,

The technically nifty Amiga computer is finally making a big impression
on the bottom line at Commodore. . .


Commodore has reported a six-fold increase in profits for the forth
quarter, and doubled earnings for the year ending June 30, 1988. . . .
The U.S. accounts for about 20% of Commodores sales. . .

Commodre said fourth quarter profits rose to $12.2 million on sales of
$215.2. The prior fourth quarter saw earnings of $2.1 million on revenues
of $190.4 million. . .

Atari's aquisition of the Federated electronics stores is hurting them
more than expected when auditors discovered that the chain's worth was 
overstated by $40 million.
