I have two internal floppies and a bridgeboard with and internal 5.25 and external 3.5. When booting up the bridge starts reading its drives while the Amiga is booting away from its drives and as the drives read I see a dimming of my 1080 screen that is definately occuring as the drive lights come on and off. So I don't think it has anything to do with your monitor hookup, just some sort of power surge as all the drives read at once. I have not looked to see if it also occurs after bootup if I access two or more drives, but suspect it would. Russ Jacobson
