About transferring graphics from Amiga to Mac and vice-versa: Macview encodes/decodes MACBINARY encoded macpaint files, not the data-fork or resource-fork of a raw paint file. Furthermore, it matches against both the creator and type of the file, not just the type, thus it only encodes/decodes Macpaint files. To transfer an arbitrary paint file from the mac to the amiga, first make it into a Macpaint file (use resedit, read it into Macpaint and save it or whatever). Then use a Mac terminal emulator that supports macbinary xmodem transfers (like Freeterm, Red Ryder, MacTerminal...) and send it to an Amiga terminal emulator using straight xmodem. Macview should be uable to read this. Do the reverse to transfer graphics from the Amiga to the Mac. I really think you'll do better using GIF to transfer to the Mac II (you'll at least preserve color). -------
