Reply-To: hobie@sq.com (Hobie Orris) Organization: SoftQuad Inc., Toronto I have been fooling with a sound player program. The trouble I am having is that on the fifth time I execute it, OpenDevice returns a -11 (which is a AUDIOERR_ALLOCFAILED). The open call goes like this : OpenDevice("audio.device",0L, ioa, 0L) where "ioa" is a pointer to an initialized IOAudio structure. All four channels are allocated (allocationMap points to an array {1,2,4,8}). After each time it is played (via BeginIO) it is closed with a: CloseDevice(ioa) So, is there something I missed?
