The reference to the "db" register and module symbol scopes should be especially helpful. I'll probably just wait for SR10 before I continue working on xmh. Ralph Swick tells me that this is the first such complaint about xmh, so it's probably just an SR9.7 bug. Still waiting desperately for SR10, Casey
