Does anybody know if a newer version of ][ GIF exists (since it has at
least this randomly seen end-of-file bug) ?

As a related question: Can somebody tell me if the source code of ][ GIF is
somewhere / somehow available ? A friend of mine is interested in polishing up
the conversion for double hires black & white mode with selectable dithering
patterns, contrast and the like.
