It's not necessary to be an expert at programming to join Apple Programmers
and Developers Association; you can be a novice and still join the group. 
Although lots of material they put out would be of interest only to developers
and programmers, much of the material is of interest to the general user of
Apple Computers.  They also sell programs that would be of interest to anyone.
