I got into the monitor, listed from $1000: 1000 JMP $204A 1003 INC $41EE 1006 BRK 1007 BRK etc.. The BRK's continued until $1048, where something that looked like code began. All of this led me to believe that the program should have loaded at $2000; I seemed to remember reading something about system programs loading there. So I decided it was worth a shot, and BLOADed BLU at $2000. From the monitor, I gave the 2000G command, and got a beep; a box on the screen, made from inverse L's and Z's and other characters, and a message inside the box that said, "MLI ERROR $56 ($20C7- $C7), Bad Buffer address, press any key; then I got an Applesoft error (?OVERFLOW ERROR) and an Applsoft prompt. I pressed RETURN, and got a beep and a register dump: 00C5- A=00 X=FF Y=01 P=B4 S=F2 * I know this is a rather windy explanation--sorry--but I'm getting nowhere with this. Can someone help? (I'm guessing it will be obvious to many of you...) Oh, yes...my Apple is a 128K //e (unenhanced). Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
