We discovered that you need Finder 5.3/5.4 and System 3.2, as well as >256K RAM space (e.g., 512K or 832K Magic Sac option) to make it work, which rules it out for 512K machine owners (520 ST). Packit has none of these limits, so it's more compatible with more Magic Sacs. I've heard several rumours that the Aladdin is now shareware, the authors have moved on, etc. I'd appreciate it if you could fill me in on the details, since this is the only service I subscribe to that jumps the "lake" with such frequency. Thus, in summary, you don't need to do resource moves to make Stuffit run under Magic Sac; just use the proper System and Finder. (By the way, if you have a version of Magic Sac that's < 5.91, it may have a problem running those Systems and Finders -- best upgrade). David Small Gadgets By Small, Inc. 40 W.
