I've had it. I am dumping 4.2 and going back to my old version of the compiler.. After fighting and scratching with rn,elm,perl to compile on this bloody thing I have given up.. The last straw was perl.. I was re-building it under the new compiler with disastrous results.. I have had no trouble at all with 4.2 and elm, perl, smail including alpha testing smail 3.1. The only problem I have noticed is with vnews and believe that is in the software rather than the compiler as it does fine on another machine with the same compiler.
