Here's one:

While reading news a little while ago, the process simply stopped. My
.newsrc was updated, everything was fine, just as if I quit it myself. There
was no 'stopped' message, nothing. Just my prompt. This has happened to
several other people, and in different programs, such as reading mail or
messages. A 'ps' doesn't show any processes running either.

Any ideas?? We are running UMAX 4.2 on a Multimax 320 with 2 APC cards (4
processors)
