Of course you either have to buy an insanely expensive 2400 baud modem (>$600, non-hayes-compatible, no 300 baud) or carry your modem over and ignore the legal problems (hoping that they ignore you, too). The "normal" BTX entry is 1200 baud in and 75 baud out (at your place). What stumps me is whatever you want to do with BTX? There already are quite a few commercial mailbox systems here.
