TranslatorDA (1.50, May '87) dies completely on The best way I've found to translate WriteNow to other formats is with PageMaker 2.0a or 3.0. PM reads WN format just fine, and will save (Export) text into Macwrite, WN, Word 3.0, or text files. Read your WN in, write out as Word 3.0, read it into FW. I'm not sure what this does with footnotes; the material I used did not include them. There might be some small differences going in between formats like this, but the main part should make it fine. -cbb -- Chris Borton borton%uva@mcvax.{nl,bitnet,uucp} (oops, that's rather flakey right now: use borton%uva@hasara5.bitnet) Rotary Scholar, University of Amsterdam CS
