If everything is on Ether it is a big win. (i.e. around a ten fold speed up, but it depends alot upon the specific application) However there is a huge lose if you are communicating from LocalTalk to EtherTalk, it is over an order of magnitude slower. TRY to keep everything either one way or the other, because if you are using both Ether and Local you are going to have big problems. phil
