Microsoft is in business to make money. Considering that every time I see a list of top selling software for the Macintosh, it's Microsoft topping the list, I'd say they're doing a pretty good job of meeting their goal. Last I looked, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Works were 3 of the top 4. Aside from some epheremal goal of writing good software, what incentive does Microsoft have to change? -- Roy Smith, System Administrator Public Health Research Institute {allegra,philabs,cmcl2,rutgers}!phri!roy -or- phri!roy@uunet.uu.net "The connector is the network"
