I want to install a 14-point monospaced font, so I tried the procedure described in the manual (I am using the vt100 emulation mode so I lose the ability to use any font; this is stupid since I don't use any of the vt100 large characters, etc.). I installed the courier font. It "worked," however the program paints the characters with a lot of inter- character spacing (some spacing parameter is screwed up, I guess). Interestingly, if a screen full of these courier characters is resized or selected by click-and-drag, the program repaints the characters correctly but leaves the cursor at the same, too-far-out position. So, under some circumstances, it gets the correct width information. Wierd. Actually, if someone can tell me how to install a 14-point version of the standard Red Ryder vt100 font, that would be enough. Thanks!!
