I think you're looking for DigiSim, which was a small, rather nifty
digital simulator written (I think) by a Graduate Student somewhere...
...its available in the Info-Mac archive on Sumex-Aim.Stanford.EDU.

LogicWorks is a commercial program from Capilano Computing... its not too
expensive  ~$200 or so...  and is at mail order houses such as ComputerWare..
