Message-ID: <3456@alvin.mcnc.org> Date: 1 Sep 88 01:47:46 GMT Organization: Microelectronics Center of NC; RTP, NC Lines: 16 Thanks for all the suggestions! I have not had a chance to try all of them, or explore combinations of approaches, and I apologize for posting again before seeing how far the suggestions I have will take me. But. I have only a short time left on the net and can't wait! Does anyone know of a source for the symbols used to indicate pronunciation in a dictionary? I am looking for a font, not an application, because that would be the easiest way to go with MS Word. I understand there is a font that contains the symbols *and* the letters (eg, the letter 'o' with an '-' over it, to indicate that the o is prononounced long), but I'd rather have just the symbols, so I can put them over whichever font I please. Thanks in advance--why don't any of you guys live here in North Carolina (don't answer that!) so I can hire *you* as consultants???
